Memorial Day Weekend
This Memorial Day weekend has turned out to be one of those irritating trying ones. Saturday I washed, waxed and armor-alled my car. I vacuumed it completely and Febrized the carpets and seats. It is spotless and shining. When I was finished I smiled and admired my work and the shining car then went in the house to chill with the kids. Later on in the evening I went to take the kids someplace and guess what! The car was totally dead! I turned the key and there wasn’t even a ‘click’. No ights, no buzzes or beeps. Joe tried to jump it for me and still nothing. I spent all day yesterday inside waiting for someone to help me figure this out. Unfortunately, everyone has so much going on that they weren’t able to get away. I am here trying to figure out what I did to my car that killed it! I have been trying to read online but can’t find a clue. Anyone out there know what washing, vacuuming and detaling a car could do to shut it down? Water getting into something and shorting it out maybe? I hosed under the wheels and up under the car and it could have got up inside I guess I was trying to make sure any left over salt and crud from winter was washed away. I bought a new battery for it shortly after I bought it last fall. Hopefully today my sons will be able to figure out what happened and get me back on the road. I HAVE to have the car by morning to get to work!
Thanks to Josh…
…for fixing the brakes on my car! I appreciate this act of love more than I know how to say. Josh replaced the brake pads and changed the oil on my car yesterday and I am ever so grateful!
