Our town had their annual “Party In The Park” over the weekend. Our Karate and Fitness school had a booth so I was there all weekend to help hand out flyers and sign people up for our drawing. The winner gets a free month of classes in either Karate or Fitness Kickboxing. We had a blast!

This weekend is our town’s Party In The Park! I plan to help with the dojo’s table and exhibit. It’s supposed to rain. I hope we have some decent weather anyway. 🙂

I got a Magic Jack yesterday. I connected it with a pair of Vtech phones and OMG! The quality is excellant! No joke! My AT&T high speed internet combined with Magic Jack is simply amazing!

I hear people speak the name of Michael Jackson with disgust. “Pedophile!” they mutter with venom. What if, – just what if he was truly innocent and framed by people with their own agenda, for their own profit? What if people just didn’t understand the man Michael Jackson, due to things that were imposed upon the child Michael Jackson at the behest of his superiors. Why did Michael’s voice remain high and as clear as a child’s voice? What was done to him during his youth to create ths superstar that he became?

It is widely reported that he was beaten as a child and forced to perform by his driven, and domineering father. He never had a “normal” childhood. Michael Jackson was raised up in an environment unlike that of a normal family. How could anyone expect him to act like everybody else? Did his eccentricities and “difference” make him a pedophile? Nope! Perhaps it was his innocence that stopped him from fearing what people would imagine and think about him having slumber parties with kids in his effort to relive his long lost childhood.

I encourage you to read both sides of the issue before you form an iron clad opinion. Stop for a moment and contemplate. What if someone accused you, or someone you love and you know you or they would never do such a thing? What if it appeared there was evidence against you, yet you KNEW you were innocent? It seems most people like to believe the worst, and if someone is different from themselves they can’t understand or relate to them. Michael Jackson loved people and all living things. He was a generous and loving, though childlike, human being. Here is the amazing list of charities he supported

My wonderful kids decided to do something for me on Mother’s Day that they know I just LOVE! They went on a hike with me! It was a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L day! Sunshine, clear sky and a huge wooded park with both easy and difficult paths. Wow! We did some of both 🙂

They got me sweet smelling fragrances, my son and his fiance’ got me a book related to my martial arts training as well as Godiva chocolates and fragrance, my girls got me an outfit with the cutest little shirt that says “Girls make the best ninjas” 😀 Two of my sons got me a DVD player for my living room (which I didn’t have). The kids came over and watched a movie with me at my place after hiking and eating out! I had a magnificent Mother’s Day. I think it is the best Mother’s Day I ever had.
