I am a mother. I am divorced after 28 years of marriage. I have begun a new life. I am a Martial Arts student. I love computers, and have built them, played with them and worked with them for several years.
This blog took on a new emphasis when my second son went to Iraq for his second tour in the Army. Knowing he was missing many family things, and having no way to communicate, I decided to blog every little family event I could for him. It is for this reason that this year the blog has focused mostly on things relating to my kids.
I live a very active life and I love it that way.
After many years of staying home and taking care of my many children, I am now experiencing many new things. I have been able to travel a little and train in some different Martial Arts. Currently I am enjoying learning an ancient and authentic Japanese art called Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. At the time that I am writing this, I am very new to this art. I have had less than a dozen classes so far, but I know this art is not about fighting. It is about living.
